Reassignment and Version Control Updates 🔄
We know that change happens fast in your restaurant operation. That’s why we've improved the publish and assign functions so that you can respond to SOP changes or apply corrective action by reassigning trainings. Now, when you make changes to a module or course, you can quickly reassign courses or partially reassign modules to a specific segment of users. With this update, we’ve also improved version control in the Opus Training app so that all users have the most up-to-date version of a module or course in their library regardless of their assignment status.
Rules for AI Assist 🧠
To ensure consistent and effective use of AI Assist, we've added a new field in the AI Assist Brand Context settings so that you can add explicit rules or “dos and dont’s” when it comes to generating training content in Opus. These guidelines help users maximize the benefits of AI tools while maintaining quality standards. The rules cover best practices for prompt writing, content verification, and appropriate use cases for AI-generated content.
Automated Onboarding Based on Hire Date 1️⃣
We've added “Hire Date” as a user selection field for assignment automations so that you can streamline your new hire onboarding process. Using “Hire Date” will trigger any training assignment based on the trainee’s hire date (pulled via HRIS integration or the day they first appear in Opus).
Full Video Playback Requirement 🚫
To enhance learning effectiveness, we've implemented mandatory full video playback for training content. This feature ensures that users must watch a full video to proceed in the course or module, preventing skip-throughs and promoting better knowledge retention.
Enhanced Paths Segmentation 🗺️
We’re continually enhancing our path builder with improved segmentation capabilitie so that you can build more sophisticated training experiences in Opus. Now you can create more targeted and personalized learning journeys based on your organization’s roles, locations, brands, regions, or franchises.
Dashboard Search Shortcuts 🔍
Finding what you need in the Opus Dashboard is now faster than ever with our new dashboard search shortcuts. Use the keyboard shortcut “Ctrl/Command+K” to quickly access destinations in Opus (like Reporting!) or any user, location, module, course, and resource, and training materials.
