I’m excited to introduce Check-ins at Opus. We’ve long believed that a digital training platform should enhance on-the-job training, not replace it. From our customers, we learned just how true that is. We saw our most savvy customers using Opus to capture all sorts of in-person training moments, so we evolved our Skill Verification feature to allow our customers to do even more.
Check-ins give you more insights by better capturing in-person training. To put it simply, we’ve built a way for users to track the training moments that happen on the job in tandem with their digital training in Opus. This blended approach is at the center of what we do at Opus and Check-ins are just one piece of the puzzle.
A blank canvas for collaboration
With Check-ins, we're opening up the doors to more than just skill verification. While role and skill verifications are still achievable, Check-ins can be used in a variety of ways across training use cases:
Here are examples of how to guide different check-in moments:
How Check-ins work
Designate in-person moments in training modules via Check-ins. With Check-ins you can:
- Build customizable forms that guide facilitators to ensure consistency through the process.
- Delegate check-ins to other designated team members so managers can stay flexible and pull in the right person.
- Get even more visibility into how trainees are performing with ratings, comments, and photo upload.
- Track and report on in-person moments just like courses.
