In 2025, we listened closely to our customers. You told us what worked, what didn't, and what mattered most. The common thread? Ongoing training remains one of the biggest challenges in our industry. Teams need continuous reinforcement to maintain standards—but finding the time can feel impossible.
Based on that feedback, we built five major capabilities that work together as an integrated system. Each is designed to make knowledge instantly accessible—so those spare moments during shifts actually work for training.
Opus is a mobile-first training operations platform for multi-location restaurant and hospitality businesses. We combine training delivery, task management, resource libraries, AI search, and analytics in one system designed specifically for frontline teams.
Here's what your partnership made possible in 2025.
What teams can now use in Opus
Based on customer feedback, we built five major capabilities that work together as an integrated system:
- Task Management ✅
- Improved Resource Library (your ops standards 🧠)
- AI search with “Ask Opus” 🤖
- Faster, more reliable training creation 🏎️
- Reporting that turns insights → action 🏃♂️
Each one solves a specific problem. Together, they create something bigger: a way to maintain consistency without constant intervention.
1. Task Management ✅

This year, we launched Task Management on a simple insight: tasks without training create confusion, and training without tasks doesn't guarantee execution. We connected them. Now teams get guidance in the same mobile-first platform they already use.
Results we’ve seen
- 300K task lists submitted since we launched in April
- 1M+ potential errors avoided so far (assuming 30% error reduction)
- NAYA (38 loc fast casual) seeing smoother LTO rollouts and greater departmental buy-in
The consolidation benefit matters too. One system for training, tasks, and knowledge—instead of three platforms that don't talk to each other.

2. Improved Resource library (your ops standards brain 🧠)

We heard the same thing again and again: documents were scattered, and version control was painful. So we rebuilt the Resource Library to centralize everything—and set the foundation for AI search and one operational brain.
What customers now have
- Opus Docs: create and edit documents directly in Opus (like Google Docs) so everyone gets up-to-date information instantly
- Granular permissions: Control access by role, location, brand, or topic—no matter how complex your operation
- Auto-translation: publish once in English, access in 130+ languages
- Smart linking: connect related procedures, training modules, and resources together
Your operational knowledge moved from scattered files to a single source of truth—structured, searchable, and accessible during actual shifts.

3. AI search with “Ask Opus” 🤖

Opus already had powerful search. But teams still had to dig through resources to find answers. We wanted to make answers instantly accessible.
Ask Opus brings AI search that's trained exclusively on your company's content, with feedback mechanisms that improve accuracy over time.
Results we’ve seen
- Managers need answers too: 48% of store-level questions came from managers—showing that even experienced leaders need quick access to standards during operations
- Language accessibility matters: 10% of hourly employee questions were asked in non-English languages
Here's what training admins love most: the analytics. We show you actual prompts and answers, so you can identify skills gaps and gaps in your training materials.
4. Better AI performance on training creation 🏎️

Our first AI-powered module builder was good, but customers shared they wanted a collaborative partner—a ChatGPT-like experience where you could bring source materials and iterate naturally. And you wanted visual creation to be just as easy. So we improved both.
- AI Module Builder: Conversational creation when creating a module or course. Add materials, refine the outline, iterate naturally.
- AI Image Generator: Generate or edit accurate visuals without designers or stock photo hunts.
Results we’ve seen
- 44.6K courses generated via AI in 2025
- 3K AI-generated images created in the first month alone
- 1 screaming lettuce

5. Reporting that turns insights → action 🏃♂️

Customers have always valued Opus's training data. Now, reporting provides more granular views with richer context—pinpointing exactly where skills and training gaps exist and making results more actionable.
What customers now have
- Enhanced analytics dashboard: Clearer, more detailed views of what's working and what's not
- Advanced filtering: Drill down by location, role, skill area, or custom segments
- Saved reports: Create custom views once, reference them forever
- Guest feedback integration (Ovation Beta): Turn customer complaints into training assignments automatically
- Insights-to-action workflow: Spot a gap, assign reinforcement, track results—all in one system
- Improved compliance tracking: Easily monitor certificates and required training completion
Why we build Opus this way 🌅
Every capability we launched in 2025 connects to three core beliefs about frontline training:
- Standards must be accessible. Knowledge buried in folders doesn't exist when teams need it on shift.
- Digital enhances hands-on training. Technology supports in-person development—making it more consistent and scalable without replacing the critical floor time that builds real skills.
- AI should actually work for you. We're thoughtful about how we use it—so it saves time and improves quality, not cleanup work.
Thank you—and we're not done 🙏
These five capabilities represent the highlights of 2025. We also shipped dozens of improvements to the core platform—from better mobile performance to enhanced role-based permissions to smarter content workflows.
